July 24, 2008: Article in Spokane Journal of Business

ASG Principal Ed Kirk contributed to the Spokane Journal of Business this week. His article helps owners answer that perennial question: "What is my company worth?" Ed outlines a framework that will help any business owner determine a valuation range for his or her company, and explains why an accurate understanding of market value is crucial to retirement planning. June 15, 2008: ASG Partners Launches Quarterly Newsletter

We are pleased to announce that we recently launched our new quarterly newsletter. The Q1 2008 newsletter includes a look back at Q1 and a summary of the market going forward, guest expertise from our professional partners in private equity, and advice for planning an eventual company sale. June 5, 2008: Mike Grubb Presents to Washington State Bar Association

ASG Managing Partner Mike Grubb presented at the Washington State Bar Association's 2008 Business Law Section Midyear. Attorneys attending the session received Continuing Legal Education Credits as well as an overview of how to help their clients plan for the future sale of their privately-held companies. May 7, 2008: Hertz, Inc. purchases SECO Construction Equipment, Inc.

The Kennewick, Washington-based equipment rental company was sold to Hertz for an undisclosed sum. ASG Partners acted as exclusive advisor to the seller.



March 31, 2008: System Controls and Integration, Inc. purchases Computer Power & Service, Inc.

The Bellevue, Washington-based service company was sold to a private company for an undisclosed sum. ASG Partners acted as exclusive advisor to the seller.



March 14, 2008: The Earthly Way, Inc. purchases Garden Works, Inc.

The Bellevue, Washington-based specialty product manufacturer and distributor was sold to a private company for an undisclosed sum. ASG Partners acted as exclusive advisor to the seller.



March 10, 2008: Puget Sound Business Journal article

ASG Managing Partner Mike Grubb again contributed his expertise to the Puget Sound Business Journal last month. Addressing worries about the current economic climate, Mike assured the Journal's readers that there is always a demand for healthy, growing companies.
