Paul Keller has been a founder, co-founder and executive team member in three privately-backed companies where his roles included
merger & acquisition activities, private financing, marketing, sales and business development. In his most recent role, Paul had overall P&L responsibility for
three business units that combined for more than 150 employees and almost $80 million in revenue. During Paul’s tenure, the company made several acquisitions, grew sales threefold, expanded internationally and was ultimately packaged and sold to a public acquirer. Paul’s prior roles have also included corporate development, business development and sales/marketing assignments in Fortune 100 corporations. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from St. Olaf College and an MBA from Marquette University.

Mike Grubb brings a unique combination of operating and merger &
acquisition (M&A) experience to his role at ASG. Prior to joining ASG, Mike had overall responsibility for a $65 million consumer subscription business that was sold to a NASDAQ company for more than $100 million. Mike was responsible for managing the P&L, expanding the company’s product offering and overseeing the marketing programs designed to drive conversion and retention among more than 2 million subscribers. In prior roles, Mike was responsible for a $10 million advertising business unit and served in a variety of other corporate development, business development and operating capacities. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science (cum laude) from the University of Washington.

Cindy Hunston’s career includes 20 years of merger & acquisition (M&A) experience in the Pacific Northwest, with an emphasis on the sale and financing of a wide range of privately owned businesses. Cindy is a top producer in the M&A profession and is highly regarded in the community due to her knowledge, experience, and her
extensive network of contacts, combined with a very successful track record of performance. Cindy’s prior business activities include the ownership and operation of a construction business and management responsibilities in both marketing and public relations. Cindy’s educational background includes a BA from the University of Texas and an MBA from Southwest Texas State University.

Ed Kirk began his professional career as a project engineer and eventually moved on to become a business development manager with a Fortune 100 company, where he participated in numerous acquisitions and divestitures with a combined value of over $400 million. He has been involved with both domestic and international projects and has worked closely with many of the top Wall Street merger & acquisition firms. Ed developed an interest for small business when he helped start up a company that develops Internet-based character education programs for students. He still owns a minority interest in this 5-year old company. Ed has a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Gonzaga University as well as his MBA.

Barry Evans has extensive consulting and merger & acquisition experience with an emphasis on manufacturing, service and distribution firms with
market valuations between $1 and 30 million. His ten-year Wall Street career included Account Executive responsibilities with Dean Witter, followed by regional partnership management responsibilities for Reynolds Securities, Inc. In addition to his role at ASG, Barry has ownership interests in, and sits on the Boards of, a number of privately owned companies with aggregate annual revenues in excess of $23 million. Barry’s educational background includes a BA from the University of Washington, a Graduate Degree from the New York Institute of Finance and the completion of specialized American Banking Association studies at the Wharton School of Finance.
